Ever since I was young, I’ve loved stories. From having The Hobbit read to me as a child, to finding my own love for books as an adolescent, to eventually crafting my own stories through playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends as often as possible, I’ve always enjoyed immersing myself within stories about fantastical worlds and interesting characters.

That love of storytelling evolved into a love of journalism.

I've learned to love covering events, interviewing interesting people, and sharing stories with people who may not have otherwise known about them. Investigative journalism in particular caught my eye, and when I wrote my first investigative piece in my second year of college, I knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

I also aspire to become an author some day. The writings of Brandon Sanderson, Andrzej Sapkowski, and J. R. R. Tolkien inspired me to create my own worlds and stories just as they have, and the hope of being able to immerse others in the way their works immersed me is a driving force behind my creativity.
